Travis J. Cox
A native Dallasite, Travis Cox conducts the firm’s family law and commercial litigation. Travis Cox earned his undergraduate degree from Trinity University in San Antonio. He is a cum laude graduate of Baylor Law School.
Before joining Sibley Cox, he represented governmental entities in court. Travis now uses his extensive courtroom experience to represent the firm’s clients in family and civil courts of Texas.
Travis Cox applies his litigation experience for the firm’s clients by helping them reach their end goals as quickly and efficiently as possible. He strives to avoid unnecessary and costly fights, focusing on the matters the Court deems most appropriate for the case at hand. Travis is a skilled researcher, and develops and argues detailed and complicated cases in the firm’s appellate practice.
At Baylor, Travis was a senior editor for the Baylor Law Review and member of Order of the Barristers. He serves as a Board Member for the Friends of Fair Park and as a coach for BvB Dallas, benefiting Alzheimer’s’ research. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and serves on the Memorial and History Committee.
Travis is licensed to practice in Texas (November 2013) and in Federal Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
